Newbridge under nines rugby team has received a brand new kit thanks to sponsorship from Brace’s Bread.

The sponsorship, which will last until September 2016, will provide the team of 15 with a complete kit of jerseys, shorts and socks for their players.

Coach Kirsty Hansen said: “Our Spartan boys are so excited about their new kit and will be wearing the Brace’s logo with pride.

“We are incredibly grateful to Brace’s Bread for their contribution to our team. It’s fantastic that a large household brand have helped a small local team start off a great new season. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Scott Richardson, CEO at Brace’s Bakery, said:“Our business was grown from the support of the local community so it is really important to us to give something back.

“When we heard the team at Newbridge were in need of a new kit, we were delighted to offer sponsorship to cover the costs.”
