Bargoed’s Commonwealth Games bronze medal holder has won gold at the Queens Cup in Germany.
Lauren Price beat Russia’s number one Darina Sandakova in the 69kg category on October 31.
Price, who became the first Welsh woman to win a Commonwealth Games medal in boxing in Glasgow last year, also beat German, Finnish and English boxers on her way to the title.
She won the final with a split decision and took to Twitter to thank her followers for their support.
The Queens Cup is an international tournament for women and girl boxers from juniors through to elite, such as Price.
In May, Price was also honoured with the Howard Winstone Belt for the best amateur boxer in Wales.
The belt is awarded in honour of the late Howard Winstone, who was World Featherweight Champion.
The Merthyr boxer won the title, and 83 out of 86 bouts, despite losing three fingertips on his right hand in an industrial accident while working in a toy factory.
