The way community clubs can apply for funding has changed and now must be completed online.
Sport Caerphilly hosted their annual community club open day on November 12 and explained the changes made when applying for a Sport Wales’ Community Chest grant.
There was also a talk by David Phenis, from the University of South Wales’ mentoring programme, about how it can benefit clubs and individual members.
Cllr Nigel George, Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure Services said: “The open evening was a great success and I am confident that the community clubs who attended are now more informed of what support and resources are available to them.”
