Welsh shooter Elena Allen missed on a place in the Olympic skeet semi-final after finishing 14th in the qualification heats.
Elena, from Blackwood, won a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, but struggled in the blustery Brazilian conditions on Friday August 12.
An overall score of 64/75 left the 44-year-old in 14th place, and failed to make the cut for the semi-finals later on Friday evening.
Elena also finished 14th overall at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics.
