Aaron Ramsey looks likely to miss Wales’ upcoming World Cup qualifying games, according to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Midfielder Ramsey, 25, played a starring role as Wales reached the semifinal of the European Championships earlier this summer, but hasn’t featured for his club since injuring his hamstring in Arsenal’s season-opening loss to Liverpool on August 14.
Ramsey suffered a setback in his recovery which delayed his first-team return – initially earmarked for early September.
Wales began their World Cup 2018 qualification campaign with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Moldova on Monday September 5, and next travel to Austria on Thursday October 6, before facing Georgia in Cardiff on Sunday October 9.
