Caerphilly Ladies fell just short against Merthyr B in the latest round of A470 Netball League fixtures.
On Thursday October 20, a spirited performance by Caerphilly Ladies in Division 2 saw them fall just short against Merthyr B as they lost 28-24, while Caerphilly Youth were outclassed in a 58-8 humbling at the hands of Serens A.
Aber Valley were unlucky on their travels to Treharris, as they were squeezed out 32-25, but another youth side showed real determination, as Starlets Youth – a combination of players from Starlets in Markham and Gilfach Netball – were hot on the heels of Pontyclun Panthers in their 20-22 loss.
