Trethomas Bluebirds took all three points with a hard fought away 2-1 win at Cwm Welfare in the Welsh League Division 3.
With several players unavailable for selection, Trethomas fielded two youth players in the starting line with a further two on the bench.
In very difficult and cold conditions, neither side looked dangerous and chances were few and far between as the game remained goalless at the break.
The deadlock was broken after 63 minutes when Curtis Rees neatly finished after good work by Davies and Griffiths on the right wing.
Bluebirds’ lead was short-lived after Cwm equalised from the spot, but Gomer restored his side’s lead with a thumping header.
