Manon Carpenter finished as the fastest Briton in the Women’s Elite UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup.
Caerphilly-born Carpenter, 24, finished fourth overall with a time of 5:55.299 at the event at Fort William, Scotland.
Australian Tracey Hannah won in 5:39.298, after world champion Rachel Atherton’s winning run – which stretched back to 2015 – ended as she crashed in wooded area during the morning practice on Sunday June 4.
The tournament next arrives in Leogang, Austria, on Saturday June 10.
