Thug attacked wrong twin in a case of mistaken identity

An identical twin is scarred for life after being mistaken for his lookalike brother – and punched in the face in a pub blunder.

Lee Gregory, 47, was riding a Yamaha R6 motorcycle along Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly, when he crashed head-on with an oncoming car.

A teenager is to be sentenced next month after he admitted stabbing a man in the chest.

Stefan Morgan, of Station Road, Abertysswg, was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday, June 29.

Two Caerphilly men have been jailed for selling £100,000 worth of stolen cars to unsuspecting motorists.

Nicholas Seabrook, 30, of Hodges Crescent, Pengam, near Blackwood, was ordered to pay the money at a court hearing last month.

Around 1.4kg of dried cannabis was found – worth around £10,000 – with a further 14 plants worth around £3,000.

Don Midasoni has been ordered to pay more than £4,200 in compensation.

The 39-year-old has been in hospital after being attacked earlier this month.

In his interview with police officers he said he had wanted his wife to “stop nagging me” and had held the rifle to her head to “shut her up”.
