More than two million people in Wales have now received two coronavirus vaccine doses.
Latest figures published by Public Health Wales show 2,002,162 people have been double-jabbed, while 2,289,142 people in Wales have had at least one vaccine dose.
The Welsh Government is aiming to offer all eligible adults their second vaccine dose before the end of September.
Last month, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) recommended the use of booster vaccines from September, to boost immunity as we head into the winter months.
Last week, Wales’ Health Minister Eluned Morgan said the number of people asked to isolate by the NHS Covid-19 app was increasing in Wales, but said “at the present time, case rates and contacts [in Wales] are not at the same levels seen elsewhere in the UK”.
She reiterated that changes to the self-isolation rules could change after the next three-week Welsh Government review, which will take place in August.
The Welsh Government is aiming to remove the requirement for people who have received both coronavirus vaccine doses to self-isolate if they come in contact with someone who tests positive for the virus.
Who has been vaccinated so far?
The percentage of people in Wales who have received their first and second vaccine is broken down below:
Care home residents: 98.1% first dose; 95% second dose
Care home workers: 93.2% first dose; 89% second dose
Healthcare workers: 96.4% first dose; 93.5% second dose
Social care workers: 45,610 first dose; 44,747 second dose
Aged 80 and above: 96.1% first dose; 94.5% second dose
Aged 75-79: 96.9% first dose; 95.8% second dose
Aged 70-74: 96.2% first dose; 95.3% second dose
Clinically extremely vulnerable people aged 16-69 : 94.5% first dose; 91.2% second dose
Aged 65-69: 95% first dose; 93.6% second dose
Clinical risk groups aged 16 to 64: 89.6% first dose; 84.4% second dose
Aged 60-64: 93.3% first dose; 91.5% second dose
Aged 55-59: 91.5% first dose; 89.1% second dose
Aged 50-54: 89.5% first dose; 86.3% second dose
Aged 40-49: 84.1% first dose; 76.5% second dose
Aged 30-39: 76% first dose; 61% second dose
Aged 18-29: 74.3% first dose; 43.6% second dose
