Gerwyn Price suffered a quarter-final exit at the New South Wales Darts Masters on Saturday August 12, following a 6-3 loss to Australia’s Damon Heta.
Price, from Markham, got the competition underway with a first round 6-2 win over another Australian, Harley Kemp.
However, he was unable to build on that win and was knocked out in the following round.
Heta went on to narrowly beat Belgium’s Dimitri van den Bergh in the semi-finals, before losing to Rob Cross in the final.
It wrapped up a disappointing tour down under for Price, who was beaten in the New Zealand Darts Masters semi-finals a week earlier.
