The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k will return on Sunday May 12 – with entries now open.
The 2k fun run, which accompanies the 10k race, will also be return on that date.
The 10k race starts and finishes on Crescent Road, with the track leading runners in and around Caerphilly town centre, passing landmarks such as the castle and the Tommy Cooper statue along the way.
Last year, the men’s race was won by Swansea’s Dewi Griffiths, who clocked a time of 30 minutes and 23 seconds.
The women’s race was won by Blackwood’s Lauren Cooper, with a time of 35 minutes and 40 seconds.
The annual event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Cllr Chris Morgan, the cabinet member for leisure, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people from all over the region coming together to take part in [last year’s] Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K.
“The event supports our vision of getting more people, more active, more often. We hope to see everyone again this year.”

Information on race packs, road closures and other details will be shared nearer to the date, the council has said.
