A house in Cwmfelinfach could be converted into a house in multiple occupation (HMO) for up to three people.
New plans submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council show the applicant is D2 Propco, a firm specialising in “providing short-term supportive housing solutions to meet interim homeless duties”.
It hopes to convert the property at 26 Maindee Road, which is currently a two-bedroom house.
HMOs are typically properties for single, unrelated adults who have their own private bedrooms but share other communal areas.
In this case, designs show how the property’s existing ground-floor living room would be converted into a third bedroom.
The layout of the rest of the house would remain largely the same as the current arrangements.
The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 26/0165/COU.
