Today their national sides will be squaring up on opposite sides of the Millennium Stadium, but Carlo Fraccalvieri and Joanne Burgess are on the same team when it comes to creating delicious Italian cuisine with a Welsh twist.
The duo run Llanbradach-based catering firm ‘A Presto’ and have been successful in receiving a Caerfilli Cwm a Mynydd Partnership Rural Industry and Produce Innovation grant.
The grant will be used for marketing and product development at the Food Industry Centre in the University of Wales Institute Cardiff.
Using locally sourced ingredients, A Presto deliver freshly cooked ready meals direct to the customer.
