Villagers in Llanbradach and Pwllypant braved the freezing conditions on Friday night to turn out in force to welcome Father Christmas.
A large number of children, together with parents and grandparents, went to meet Santa as stopped at five different locations in Llanbradach and Pwllypant.
Many youngsters also had their photos taken with Santa and everyone had sweets from the bearded visitor.
The event was organised by Llanbradach and Pwllypant Community Council who were very grateful for the support they received from Gwent Police neighbourhood officers.
