Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred in Pontllanfraith at approximately 7.45pm on Saturday September 22.
A 31-year-old man suffered a head injury during the incident on Blackwood Road in the vicinity of the Wong Chinese takeaway.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for any witnesses to come forward by calling 101.
