Gwent Police is appealing for information to an assault that took place between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday May 11 in Pontllanfraith.
A woman was walking along the lane between Gelli Groes and the Overdene, when an unknown man assaulted her – punching her to the face several times. She suffered a laceration to the head and bruising to her face.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
