A man has appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murder of Ystrad Mynach man David Alun Lewis.
Gareth Wyn Jones, 28, Hansen Street, Cardiff was remanded in custody to appear Cardiff Crown Court at a later date.
Mr Lewis’ body was found partly submerged in the River Taff in Grangetown, Cardiff on March 19.
South Wales Police said he received multiple injuries. A post-mortem examination has been carried out but further tests are needed to establish the exact cause of death.
Jones was arrested on March 21 and charged with murder yesterday.
