Police are appealing for information after a deliberate fire on Rudry Common last night.
Crews from Caerphilly Station used beaters to fight the fire which was started on Rudry Common near the Maen Llwyd pub at 9.08pm.
In two other separate incidents, deliberate fires were also started in Nelson and Caerphilly.
At 8.52pm, firefighters were called to an empty house in Nelson where a fire had been started in a doorway while on the Castle View estate in Caerphilly, three wheelie bins were set alight at around 1.50am on Friday morning.
Anyone with information on either incident should call Gwent Police on 101.
