More than 400 residents from across Caerphilly County Borough showed their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community at a special event to mark Armed Forces Day.
Held on Saturday June 21 in Ystrad Mynach, the event was a huge success.
A short parade into Ystrad Mynach town centre, led by the Royal British Legion and supported by local Air and Sea Cadet corps, was followed by a flag raising ceremony in the centre of town.
Speakers at the ceremony included the Deputy Lieutenant of Gwent Mr John Child and students from Lewis Girls Comprehensive School.
