Man rescued from flat fire in Lansbury Park, Caerphilly

A man has been rescued by emergency services from a flat fire in Lansbury Park, Caerphilly.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to the the flat in Gwaun Newydd at 12.10pm today after reports of an accidental kitchen fire.

Two crews from Caerphilly and one from Whitchurch attended, as did Gwent Police and paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service who treated the man.
