A dog found trapped in a snare near Bryn Meadows golf club at Maesycwmmer has been reunited with its owners thanks to Caerphilly Observer.

The RSPCA put an appeal out for the owners of the dog to come forward after it was found by a member of the public on Saturday October 18.

Yesterday, Caerphilly Observer published the appeal, which was spotted by Adam Roberts from Caerphilly Hunt Pack.

He contacted the RSPCA and Caerphilly Observer and said the hound had been missing since Saturday when the pack had been out.
