A new play area has been officially unveiled at Cwm Las Playing Field in Llanbradach.

The area includes a new climbing frame, slide, swings and roundabout. Pupils from Cwm Glas Primary School helped with the unveiling before Christmas.

Headteacher Helen Owen-Williams said “Our pupils were so excited about the new play facility. It is something for the community to be really proud of and hopefully enjoy for many years to come.”

Cllr Nigel George Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure services said “I would like to thank the pupils of Cwm Glas primary school for helping us open this new play facility.”

A waste of money! It will be rarely used, destroyed by vandals, and the whole place will become a no-go area.
