Gwent Police is appealing for information after two men pushed their way in to an 81-year-old man’s home.
The burglary took place at around 11am on Monday April 11 at a house on Garden Street, Llanbradach.
The elderly man answered his door to two men, who asked if they could come in. When the elderly man refused, they pushed their way past him.
One of the burglars ran into the kitchen, and the other ran upstairs. They left a few minutes later and made off on foot.
The 81-year-old was unharmed but police said he was left “shaken” after the incident.
The two men are described as being dressed in black, and were wearing gloves. They were both around 5ft 6in tall.

The problem again is that even if these sub humans are caught, the courts, ( if they get that far which would probably be unlikely) would fail to deal with them appropriately, in the meantime a local resident is left traumatised 81 years of age what a pair of bell ends.
Yes how right you are, though the knuckle draggers who are responsible for this despicable act wouldn’t dare attack somebody who might fight back, they’re nothing more than cowardly bottom feeders who prey on frail, honourable, decent old people. The pond life who did this are not fit to breathe the same air as normal, respectable human beings. I’d round them all up, put them on a floating vessel and tow them out into the middle of a very large and very deep ocean – and leave them there to rot.

Let’s hope this pair is caught soon. As one commentator suggests the court will, unfortunately, probably apply a non custodial sentence.
That is the problem, the courts will not deal with these scum. This is why people in power need to get off their back sides and actually do something about it, and make changes. These low life role model citizens who do this type of thing know that if they get caught all they will get is a tap on the wrist and told not to do it again. If there was a punishment to fit the crime, say fifteen years jail, without parole, then scum life would think twice about committing crime, simple..
