It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the County Borough of Caerphilly as Caerphilly County Borough Council join forces with local businesses to bring the Christmas shopping experience to you.

From Saturday, November 28, to Thursday, December 24, residents can shop local and shop safe with a range of exclusive special offers from local businesses.

Explore each of our key town centres, Bargoed, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Risca, and Ystrad Mynach to fulfil all your Christmas shopping needs.

Stay local this Christmas and discover the fantastic selection of unique independent retailers and big names that adorn our local high streets and surrounding areas. There will be lots of special offers, competitions and fun activities thrown into the mix.

If you fancy exploring the town centres from the comfort of your own home, there are also many online offers available to make it inclusive for all.

We want to encourage those of you who feel more vulnerable an opportunity to shop locally online; and those who are desperate to get out and about some fantastic instore offers.

Cllr Sean Morgan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy and Enterprise, said: “There has never been a more important time to support your local High Street. The borough is full of independent stores offering a wide range of hidden gems and locally produced products and services.

“These businesses are at the heart of our high streets and we should support them as much as we can this Christmas.”
