Bargoed Town Council has funded six weeks of free guitar workshops for residents.
Children and adults alike can sign up for the lessons which are run by social enterprise RecRock.
The workshops will run for six weeks in Bargoed Library from February 19 (not including the Easter holidays).
The funds were approved at the Bargoed Town Council meeting on January 24.
In the meeting, Cllr Dawn Ingram-Jones said that previous workshops run by RecRock “were very popular” with young people.
The sessions for adults (18+) run from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and for children and young adults (ages 12 to 18) from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
