Trebanos 21-12 Bedwas – WRU Challenge Plate
Bedwas let a first-half lead slip away as Trebanos stormed back to gain a deserved win on a mild afternoon in the Swansea Valley.
The afternoon started well for Bedwas, with Matty Bancroft landing a penalty from the halfway line to give the visitors the lead.
Both sides lost control at crucial times but two further Bancroft penalties in the 14th and 19th minutes respectively put Bedwas in control.

Trebanos scored a second penalty shortly before the half-time break to cut Bedwas’ lead at the break to 12-6.
In the 54th minute, Trebanos took the lead after a converted try. The lead was extended by a further three points thanks to a penalty kick.
