An emergency ambulance was raided as its crew treated a patient in Rhymney.

The theft took place in Tan-Y-Bryn, Rhymney, between 11.55pm on Thursday, October 28, and 1am on Friday, October 29.

A white and blue Vans rucksack was taken, which included an NHS iPad.

The ambulance was unattended as its crew dealt with a patient’s medical emergency.

The Welsh Ambulance Service is appealing for people with information to contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting reference 2100378977, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. The force can also be contacted via social media direct message.
