The incident is said to have happened at around 7.45pm on Saturday, November 27, in the wooded area near the Sirhowy River.

The victim was driving on Sirhowy View when an egg was thrown at his car.

The man got out of the car and followed the suspect but was assaulted by the youths, who are said to be aged between 16 and 18.
