A road in Pontllanfraith is set to be closed over the weekend while repair works are carried out.

The works, which will be to fix a damaged culvert on Commercial Street, will begin on Saturday, January 15. The work is set to be finished on Tuesday, January 18.

However, work will be subject to weather conditions, Caerphilly County Borough Council has said.

Access to Bridge Vets and the petrol station, as well as nearby businesses and houses will still be possible from the B4251 road.

Additional 24-hour two-way traffic controls will be in place to manage access into Tram road for the duration of the works.
