A 19-year-old man has suffered potentially life-changing injuries after a car crash in Pen y Fan Industrial Estate, near Oakdale.

The man, from Trinant, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to the Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran for treatment after suffering a leg injury.

The crash happened at around 12.15am on Tuesday morning.

The driver – a 19-year-old man from Oakdale – was taken to hospital as a precaution and was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving. He remains in police custody.
