The Snoopy sculpture which was damaged by vandals is set to return, Dogs Trust has confirmed.

The sculpture, which was on Crescent Road, Caerphilly, had been put up on Friday, April 8 as part of A Dog’s Trail with Snoopy, but was damaged that same morning.

Three sculptures were also damaged in Cardiff.

The sculptures were taken away for the damaged to be looked at, with a view to repairing them.

Now Dogs Trust, which is behind the charity trail, confirmed all of the damaged sculptures will return.

In a statement, the charity said: “Despite the sad news over the weekend about our damaged Snoopy sculptures, the support from the public has been phenomenal and we have loved seeing how much joy A Dog’s Trail is bringing to the community.

“The good news is that all damaged sculptures can be repaired and should be back out on the trail by the end of the Easter holidays.”
