A man has suffered life-changing injuries after falling off his bike in Ystrad Mynach.
The incident happened on Nelson Road, near the council offices, on Tuesday, August 23.
In a statement, Gwent Police said: “Officers were dispatched to an emergency call on Nelson Road, Ystrad Mynach, regarding a male who had fallen off his bike and has suffered life changing injuries.
“Officers ensured roads were closed off at both ends for ambulance personnel to carry out their duties.
“The male was then taken to the Heath Hospital.”
