With professional sport cancelled across the UK this weekend, the Football Association of Wales (FAW) has announced that no games will be played in Wales this weekend following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has also postponed all senior games.

The #JDCymruLeagues can confirm that this weekend's fixtures will be postponed as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Despite no obligation to cancel events, the FAW held a meeting this morning where it decided to align with the English Football League, which earlier today said it would be postponing games as a mark of respect.

The WRU has also decided to postpone senior games, with junior games still set to go ahead.
