Caerphilly County Borough Council is organising the event. It’s deputy leader, Cllr Jamie Pritchard, said: “Last year’s Ystrad Mynach Spring Fair attracted over 6,000 visitors to the town centre, an increase in footfall of over 5,000 visitors in comparison to the previous Saturday.

“Other events held in the town centres in 2022 brought their busiest day of the year with huge numbers coming out to support the events and the high streets.”

Spring fairs have already been held in Bargoed and Blackwood this spring, with Caerphilly set to host its Food and Drink Festival on April 29.
