Residents are being asked for their views on how the council should deal with flooding.
Caerphilly County Borough Council published its local flood risk management strategy in 2013, but is now updating it in line with new legislation and guidance.
The council has said the feedback it receives from residents will help in drafting its revised strategy in the autumn.
The strategy deals with surface water runoff, groundwater and watercourses, with main river flooding the responsibility of Natural Resources Wales.
The Local Flood Risk Management Strategy guides how flood risk will be dealt with in Caerphilly County Borough.
It includes information on flood risk, highlighting where problems have occurred and current risk levels.
It also includes clarification on which organisations are responsible for what, information on what measures will be taken to reduce flood risk and what measures communities can take to improve flood resilience.
The survey can be viewed on the council’s website and is also available at libraries.
The survey will close on July 28.
