Post office to reopen under new management

Fochriw Post Office is set to reopen

Fochriw post office is set to reopen under new management this month. 

The service will be available 70 hours a week at the previous location of 1 The Grove, Fochriw from July 26.

This comes after the branch closed in April due to the resignation of the previous postmaster. 

Santosh Sanudrala, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring Post Office services to Fochriw, as we know how important a post office is to a community.”

The branch will officially reopen at 1pm on Wednesday July 26 and thereafter will be open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm.
