But they cancel the Pr competition classes that keep youngsters in the sport for years to come keeping them healthy and fit!!!!!. This is nuts.

The Plaid led council have no idea of what the people of the count want, or do they care????.

You would have thought that the council would be encouraging the younger generation to stay fit and healthy instead they stop these lessons and introduce the free swim as long as they take out the smart card initiative!!!!!!

How will this free swim be paid for, will there be another stealth tax like the increase in the burial services (death tax). Wil it be paid for by an increase in the smart cards, again another tax increase.

If the Plaid led administration want to get more residents swimming, why don't they invest in the leisure centrex and update thses facilities, the public won't mind an increase in council tax if they can see the facilities they are getting are top quality, and at the moment the leisure centres in CCBC are far from that.

Free swim initiative is a good idea, but not at the expense of an already established swimming programme that will take youngsters onto fitness and a healthier lifestyle. Get a grip CCBC
