The Little Cheese is being held on September 2 and 3

The Little Cheese festival is back this weekend.

The event comes to Caerphilly town centre on Saturday September 2 and Sunday September 3.

Dubbed the Little Cheese, in contrast to previous years’ Big Cheese, the smaller event was first held last year, without a funfair, after development work at Caerphilly Castle prevented the fuller version from being held.

Last year’s event attracted 10,000 visitors.

The festival, which is being held between 9am and 5pm on both days, will include live music throughout Cardiff Road and Castle Court Shopping Centre, as well as a central stage at the Twyn car park.

The event will play host to local and headline musicians, along with numerous food and drink stalls, organisers Caerphilly County Borough Council has confirmed.
