Two teenagers have pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm after physically attacking a 17-year-old in Rhymney.
The victim was left with a fractured cheekbone following the incident, which took place in Thomas Fields and Tan-y-Bryn on June 4, 2022.
Eighteen-year-old Jack Challoner, of Merthyr Road, Rhymney Bridge, Llechryd, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, pleaded guilty to the same offence.
Challoner is due to be sentenced on January 18 at Cardiff Crown Court.
The 17-year-old boy will instead appear at Newport Youth Court on January 9.
