The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, flew over the county borough at around 5.05pm on Saturday July 6.

The display team took to the skies as part of the Wales Airshow in Swansea.

Their route saw them flying over Trinant, Crumlin, Hollybush, Pontlottyn, Fochriw, and Rhymney.
Community councillor, and aviation enthusiast, Eddy Blanche had his camera at the ready and took these brilliant images from Fochriw.
