A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving after a car crashed into a house on Pandy Road, Llanbradach.

The crash happened at around 6.25am on Monday August 12.

The 21-year-old, from the Bedwas area, remains in police custody.

Gwent Police has confirmed no injuries were reported.

The road was closed to allow for the car to be recovered, but it has since reopened.
