Residents across the Caerphilly constituency have been casting their votes today in a hotly-contested Senedd by-election.

The election follows the sudden passing of incumbent Labour MS Hefin David, who died in August, aged just 47.

Our reporters Richard Gurner, Rhys Williams, and Nicholas Thomas will be bringing you live updates from Caerphilly Leisure Centre, where the votes are being counted.
