A McDonald’s restaurant in Caerphilly could be set for a new year facelift, according to plans submitted to the county borough council.

The fast-food chain has applied for planning permission to carry out a “refurbishment and redecoration” at its Crossways site in the town.

If the plans are approved, McDonald’s could move the entrance to the restaurant and install a new access door.

Other proposed changes include new aluminium cladding on the building’s drive-thru booths.

The application is currently under consideration, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 25/0861/FULL.
