A former GP surgery in Newbridge could be converted into offices.
The North Celynen Medical Centre closed its branch in the town’s Ashfield Road late last year and moved services into its main centre, in Crumlin.
Now, applicant Carl Headon, from Hurley and Davies Ltd, is seeking planning permission to convert the site for office use.
Plans submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council show internal changes would be minimal.
On the ground floor, a treatment room and four consultation rooms would become five office spaces, while a “breakout space” is proposed for an existing waiting area.
The first floor’s layout would remain the same as the existing arrangements, and include a meeting room, kitchen and bathroom.
The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 25/0894/COU.
