Work to repair a landslip on a stretch of road between Bargoed and Deri is expected to last eight weeks.

Caerphilly County Borough Council started work at Groes Faen on Monday February 2.

Three-way temporary traffic signals will be installed at the junction of Groes Faen and the A469 (Puzzle House) for the first two weeks of the project.

The contractor will aim to remove the three-way lights this weekend.

A lane closure along Groes Faen Terrace will remain in place for the full duration of the works, which the council hopes will be completed by March 27.

Plans unveiled for new waste centre aimed at boosting low recycling rates
