A former St John Ambulance hall in Bedwas could be converted into new homes.

New proposals submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council show how applicant Nigel Willetts hopes to redevelop the “empty” hall on Pandy Road.

The building would be redesigned to create two one-bedroom and two two-bedroom flats.

Two of the new homes have been proposed for the building’s ground floor, which currently contains an office, hall, kitchen and toilets.

Upstairs, another two flats would replace office and attic space.

The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 26/0038/COU.
