A new sauna business could open in Rudry, according to plans filed with Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Woodchill CIC has proposed setting up the new venture in a field next to the village’s parish hall.

The development would focus on a pre-built timber sauna, along with a storage shed and a decking area.

According to the planning application, the land forms part of the hall’s wider recreational and community grounds.

Maximum opening hours of between 9am and 8pm have been proposed.

The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 26/0485/FULL.
