CAERPHILLY: Plans lodged for four-bed HMO conversion

New plans have been submitted for a HMO conversion in Bargoed.

The applicant, BCMA Properties Ltd, wants to turn 15 Llancayo Street into a four-bed HMO (house in multiple occupation).

The property is currently a three-bedroom end-of-terrace house, with rear garden.

HMOs are typically properties for between three and six single, unrelated adults who have their own private bedrooms but share other communal areas.

Plans submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council show a ground-floor lounge would be converted to create an extra bedroom.

Elsewhere, a bathroom would be reconfigured to add a shower.

The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 26/0500/COU.

Plans move forward for 17 new flats despite questions over lack of parking
