Thieves steal headstone from Bedwas Cemetery

Thieves have stolen a headstone from a grave at Bedwas Cemetery.

Gwent Police is investigating and has appealed for information after receiving a report on Thursday June 16 that items had been stolen from a graveside in the Garden of Remembrance.

The items were taken sometime between the May 1 and June 15. They include corner pillars, edging stones, a headstone and an ornamental stone cat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
